The School of Education’s Teaching Excellence Award Committee (TEA) invites and encourages current students and former students (graduated within the past year) to nominate any full-time faculty member who …

- Teaches undergraduate and/or graduate students or some combination thereof; and
- Meets the award criteria: Evidence and consistency of exemplary teaching.
We ask that you submit a new entry for each nominee.
Nominations are accepted online year-round, but May 1, 2021, is the deadline for nominations for the two awards to be announced Spring 2021. It will take about 10 minutes to rate 18 descriptive items. Then describe in approximately 150 words how your nominee demonstrates and exemplifies excellent teaching and challenges your thinking.
Nominations are open until Saturday, May 1st at 5 p.m. We ask that you submit a new entry for each nomination.
The nomination form displays the names of faculty members who are eligible for the awards. See full eligibility criteria here.
Any current or former student who graduated within the past year.
