I am thrilled to share with you that Dr. Dionne Cross Francis, a leading scholar and teacher educator in mathematics education, will join the School of Education faculty as associate professor and the Joseph R. Neikirk Term Professor effective July 1. She comes to us from the School of Education at Indiana University–Bloomington, where she held a position as an associate professor of mathematics education in the department of curriculum and instruction.
Some of you may remember Dr. Cross Francis from her visit to campus in January 2020, when she delivered a talk, “Teachers as Learners: Designing for Holistic Teacher Development,” as part of the Dean’s Distinguished Lecture Series. Please follow this link to read more about Dr. Cross Francis.
