- This event has passed.
Join the MEITE Khayrallah Fellows for the soft launch of EdTech Connect NC, a site for teachers to efficiently and effectively integrate educational technology into their K-12 content-area instruction. This site provides resources and instructional ideas for K-12 teachers who are implementing the ISTE standards in their classroom. EdTech Connect NC site is designed for teachers, by teachers, and its mission is to support North Carolina’s teachers in further developing the digital literacy skills their students will need to compete in today’s 21st-century world.
This launch will showcase the site’s features, including how to navigate the site, access information about the ISTE standards, and tour a database of edtech aligned to academic and technology standards. The main presenters will be this year’s Khayrallah Fellows including Savannah Windham, Devon Young, Erika Murray, and Marvin Espinoza, and it will open with an introduction from Dr. Todd Cherner. Participants will also have the opportunity to explore the EdTech Connect NC website, participate in small group discussions about ISTE, and ask any additional questions.
Participants will need a computer with internet access to join this session.
