LatinxEd Cafecito: The History of LatinxEd and its Work

Almost two years ago on October 13, 2018, Elaine and Ricky unveiled their vision for LatinxEd to the North Carolina community at the first Latinx 20 Under 20 Gala. Meanwhile, Elaine was expecting her first child, and Ricky was thinking about running for office… Fast forward to 2020. As LatinxEd has manifested beautifully, Elaine is now the mama of a cute toddler named Ezra, and Ricky is officially running to be the first Latino Democrat elected to North Carolina General Assembly.
