Overview

Directions are provided in this article to ensure you are correctly logged in to your UNC Zoom account within the Zoom application on the device you are using to connect to Zoom meetings/classes. Being correctly signed in within these applications is a pre-requisite to using some of the advanced features within a Zoom meeting, including being correctly moved to pre-assigned breakout rooms during a meeting or class session.

When signing in to Zoom via a web browser, make sure you sign in at https://unc.zoom.us/.

Installing the App

If you have previously participated in a Zoom meeting, it is a good chance that your device already has the Zoom Client for Meetings app installed. If you need to install the app, visit the Zoom Download Center.
