Propeling the People Behind the School of Education
The School of Education (SOE) Business Operations Office is dedicated to assisting the school’s faculty, staff, students and affiliates in their various roles by providing leadership, direction and service in the areas of facilities, finance, human resources, IT, and research administration.
The Business Operations Office also serves as a liaison between the School of Education and other offices on campus, such as Facilities Services, Housekeeping Services, Mail Services, Office of Sponsored Research, Payroll Services, Budget Office, Office of Human Resources, and Office of Information Technology Services. In addition, we serve as the School’s primary interface to the Provost and Vice Chancellor for Finance and Administration, promoting development of financial systems and representing the School’s interests in University policy development.
It is our goal to provide faculty, staff and all those who interact with our office a high level of customer service by focusing on three elements of service: accessibility, accuracy and accountability. It is our top priority to facilitate the prompt and successful completion of the operations that drive the School of Education.
The Business Operations Office and the teams that make-up the office are under the direction of David Churchill, Assistant Dean of Finance and Operations.
